Female Indian voice and said she was from the National Grid wanting a meter reading. I was googling the number and checking it. I told her she was not from there, and this was a scam, reading out the comments. She read out my home address and said that tomorrow she would come and cut off my supply! She called me an idiot, stupid and shouted for over 3 minutes non stop. For a vulnerable person this may actually be pretty intimidating and she was told she was being reported to the Police, which made her scream with anger and she shouted that she was reporting me instead. Then she hung up. (robocall / recorded message)

Hello how are you? After I asked them to explain what they wanted rather than say "Hello how are you?" back in the usual scam manipulation script he said it was time to organise a meter reading. I said to him that we had internal contractors who do that. It's a guaranteed scam. I said they should call head office to organise whatever legitimate purpose they had. They did not like this and after I hung up the rude man phoned back to agressively berate me for accurately working out what he was up to. Add to your blocked numbers. (live person)
