I received an email that this phone number was affiliated with Hachette Book Group, and they were interested in one of my books. The body of the email was super convincing, obviously written with AI, even referencing specific characters and situations in one of my books. They even used a woman’s name, who used to be associated as lead editor for the Hachette company. I was able to research and find she’s no linger employed there. It's pathetic that people will stoop this low to scam someone. Nothing but evil bottom-dwellers. Complete scam. (robocall / recorded message)
