saying they were from O2, and offered me a discount on my 02 account, sent me a 6 digit one time security code, and asked for me to read back. told them i was from the serious fraud detection office of the met police office and not sure why he hung up very quickly. such a lovely Indian gentleman until that point. scammers, don't give them the time of day. (live person)

Asian accent, background like call centre, probably a recording of call centre. Immediately mentioned "your network provider" as my antivirus suggested this was a scam call I said "you are a scammer" and hung up. Rang number from a works landline, would not connect (live person)
