They asked for confirmation of resident, stated they are from govrnment debt management scheme and that they can reduce our debt very quickly. We have no debt. I asked for their address, they gave me a nonexistent Manchester address. I have been called from this number 2 weeks ago. They said then they were a private debt management organisation do not give them any information not even your name. (robocall / recorded message)

I didn't answer as all my scam calls don't actually ring because I have put in my settings silent for spam calls. I shouldn't have had to do that with all the technology out there I stupidly thought we could stop criminals in call centres doing this to decent people (robocall / recorded message)

Shell energy about fiting my smart meter. Had this before checked with shell and they are not phoning people to fit smart metres. They said it was probably a scam. Now here it is again. (live person)
