FROM "THE WINE GROUP" I started receiving a ridiculous number of Spam/Fraud/Telemarketing calls every single day a few weeks back ~ like a dozen plus every day, whereas previously was only 2 or 3 per day (which was bad enough!🙄) ~ I am SO DEADSET sick of these calls that I've decided to get proactive and I am now either answering the calls or calling those I've missed/not answered back to ★hopefully★ get my number taken off their call lists via me not so nicely requesting that they lose my number! So I just called this number back and it was answered by a guy who stated he's from "THE WINE GROUP"; I asked him where he got my number from and he gave me a spiel about the Privacy Act that was obviously *very* rehearsed and I have no doubt has had to be used numerous times! HE THEN told me that I HAD SIGNED UP for "these types of calls", which is absolute total and complete BULLS**T! I persisted asking how/where/when he got my number and he just went silent not knowing what to say, so I ended up hanging up, and I have now reported and blocked the number (which I suggest everyone else does now too -unless you're keen on buying some cheap nasty overpriced wines that is!) I will be/am sharing ALL of this same information as it appears right here across as many of these similar types of websites where you're able to find info on the unknown numbers calling you! The ★ONLY★ way to stop these reports is to cease calling me as I so DID ★NOT★ sign up to be harassed and annoyed by random strangers!!! (robocall / recorded message)
