They said they were a Card Services Company but the caller ID said Capital One. They gave me the same story about my Experian report showed I made all payments on time and I was able to lower my interest on all my cards. They said that they needed me to give them my card number and I told them I would not do that. Because if they were ligit they would have my info and Capital One said they would never call to ask me my information. They said they were not with Capital One and that the reason it says that on the caller ID is because they are the bank that services all the credit cards and are the ones that issue the credit. I told him that I didn't believe him and I hung up and then blocked the number. (live person)

Female scammer had a heavy Indian accent. She said that "the purpose of this call is to lower your interest rate on ALL of your cards." She said she noticed on Experian that I pay on time and pay more than the minimum. The caller ID on this call said, "Capital One". She wanted to know how much I owe. I told her I wasn't going to give her any personal information. Why would someone from Capital One be able to lower my interest rates on ALL of my cards. Then she asked if I know what Experian is. She then continued to ask me what I owe. If she could see my information on Experian, then why wouldn't she know that? Then she started giving me ranges. "More than $8000?". I told her I had to let her go because she was making no sense. (live person)

The caller ID popped up as ''Capital One'' but they Introduced themselves as someone from Experian and told me that they have been monitoring my credit profile and could see that my credit progress has been good and that I've been making my payments on time and that I even pay more than the minimum each month but they noticed I was paying more interest than I should be and they wanted to "help me lower my interest rates and help me get out of debt''. (Their words) to which I responded that I couldn't see how that would help me any considering the fact that I have no debt and I currently don't have any open accounts, and I'm not making any payments. As soon as I said that the call disconnected..they hung up. Obviously a scam. BEWARE OF SCAM. (live person)

The number ID Was Capital One. The Caller Did Not Say He Was From Capitol One But Was Calling Me Trying To Lower My Interest Rates. (KEPT TRYING TO GET ME TO SAY THE WORD "YES"). I Told Him This Is Never Done Over The Phone and Only Through A Private Account Email and He HUNG UP. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! (live person)
