This is my partners number. His number has somehow been taken and they are calling random people. He’s getting 1000s of missed calls every day and abusive messages but ITS NOT HIM CALLING YOU. Vodafone said they are aware of this common problem with phones and the hackers should stop after a couple of weeks. (robocall / recorded message)

Called about 5:30pm Sat. I no longer answer calls from unknown contacts. I figure that legitimate callers would leave a message or sms if they were legit. These uninvited calls are a new pandemic. Why can't they be detected, stopped and severely fined? (robocall / recorded message)
