Stated I owed $2,300 from a master card from 2004. Had information on address previously lived at and last 4 of my ssn#. Told me there was an attempt to serve me but was unable to. Stated I could make payment with credit card but had to be in full amount. If I did not then would be assessed an additional $5,000 in attorney fees. Be aware this isn’t how it’s done. Martina Wilson called from US CCS stating a pending complaint was being filed against me unless I call back within 30 days. Left a file number and a different phone number to call back on. I called and was told I owed a debt of $1800 to Household Bank from 2009. You can easily identify if it's a scam call first look up numbers in Google, no legitimate company will come up and most times it will tell you it's a scam. I've NEVER had a card with Household and 2009 the statute of limitations is over nothing can be done! I knew it was a scam because this was tried on me before and I NEVER got served. Just because they have a little bit of information on you don't fall for this and give your hard earn money to them!!! (robocall / recorded message)
