Mr. Thomas, a Research Assistant from Central Medical Services, called to verify info I told a research institute yesterday about participating in an Eli Lilly study for Alzheimer’s Disease. When my phone rang once, I said “hello” 3 times. No one replied. Because I was expecting this call, I called back. Mr. Thomas, a man with a thick accent, answered. My voice echoed each time I answered his question so he called me back. He mispronounced my name. It was difficult to understand him. He told me my birth year was ten years earlier than the correct birth year. I had to ask him to repeat himself often during the 10-minute call. He scheduled a follow-up call on the next business day with a study coordinator. Hopefull (live person)
