Sounds basically like scamming seniors. The guy said it was a recorded call, kept talking while I replied to make it a record, so it was likely a robocall, meaning that the call itself was a recording, no allowance for conversation. Told them if I want something I will call them, not to call me again. When they got to the end of the script they said thank you for taking the call. (robocall / recorded message)
