It's a fraud center used by several banks and credit unions - it's real. The center leaves a robocall message to call them, you return their call, they have all of your bank transaction information, their system detected odd charges on your card. Without calling them you have to go to a bank branch office, and the have the ability to freeze your card if they don't here from you. (robocall / recorded message)

i got a text message saying that there was a transaction from a store called 'bordermaker' in ny when i never went there. I even checked my transaction on my bank and it says nothing was ever transferred. Definitely a scam number, if you gave them any information, please contact your actual bank ASAP (live person)

Definitely a scammer... these people called to tell me a credit card I had had fraud activities occurring on it.. but this card is not even activated and has not been activated since I lost it and canceled it almost 4 months ago. They left a message asking me to call them so I went to my bank and let them hear the voice mail they left and it was 100% a scammer trying to get my information on my credit card (robocall / recorded message)

Pretty sure this is a scam number. They called claiming to be my bank and that there was a some kind of fraud detection. However logging into my bank I saw that everything was normal. (robocall / recorded message)

I didn't answer but called my bank it IS legit can't remember the name but it is a service banks use to detect fraud that's why it's not coming up as your bank (live person)

I received a call from what claimed to be my bank stating a fraud detection alert regarding a charge. There was actually this charge made to my account, so I pressed the "no I did not make this charge" option. I was then transferred to a human who then began asking questions such as my name, account number, etc. I did give my name, but on the next question I told them they were asking too many questions for an organization that should have my information right in front of them and hung up. I suspect they stole my card number and made the charge intentionally so that they could make this phone call and get the remainder of my information to steal my identity. Good thing I had already called the bank yesterday and hot carded the card. Calls like this I 99% of the time tell them I am unable to talk at the moment and will call back, then I call my ACTUAL place to make sure that I am speaking to the PROPER people for certain. Even emails, I will email the ACTUAL company and ask them to verify an incoming email senders address as belonging to their company. Too many spammers these days. (robocall / recorded message)

They didn't introduce themselves. They simply gave my name and the last 4 digits of my debit card and said to call them. Apparently they put a hold on my card but they aren't my bank. This is fraud and I don't know how this is still allowed. (robocall / recorded message)
