Claimed to be an ICBC survey but I thought it was strange they called Me at 7pm. There was this strange noise that I would hear every time they stop speaking. Well, I have been recently in contact with ICBC. I didn’t find it weird initially, but closer to the end of the call I started to realize something might be off. Unfortunately I gave him quite a bit of information before realizing this, and I may have potentially given my information away to scammers. (live person)

Received a call from this number (778-282-8061) near 7pm. I receive so many scam calls that I did not say a word and I heard a an with a very thick Indian accent ask for me by my first and last name. I hanged up and blocked the number. After checking this and other websites, it seems that they claim to be from ICBC doing a survey. It is either a scam (most likely), or ICBC is outsourcing their surveys to whichever company charges less. Nevertheless, it is at least concerning that this kind of PI is given out so easily. 778-282-8061 called me about 7:30 pm about ICBC ipso poll survey. Well I really believed the call but I told him the Government does not phone after hours. There was no # 1 in front of numbers. He had a slight accent but I do not know what ethic the accent came from. I gave him no info but the problem I had lately with ICBC he asked no info. I have had it with weird callers. I am scared. Plus their are rogue people working in companies with the same intent to get people information and sell it. I am not mean but I have heard it before. I am scared to answer my phone.
