They claim to be with Anthem Blue Cross Blue shield, wanting my elderly mother to schedule a home visit. She set the appointment then changed her mind and had us call to cancel it. Woman who answered wouldn't confirm cancellation and just kept repeating her speel about benefit of home visit and exam. After calling Anthem we learned they said they do offer home visits, but couldn't confirm this number does any calling for them, and they checked several sources over a 20 minute call to them. On Friday March 3, 2023 I answered a call from this number at 3:46 PM. I answered it only because it rang an unusual amount of times, only a number unknown to me showed on the screen, and it was getting very annoying. The call disconnected-went from sounding like an open line to a dead flat sound of silence as I continued to repeat my question several times, Hello, what is the emergency?! The screen on my cell phone also returned to the date and time and was no longer showing an active call but only after I answered it. I honestly have no idea who the caller was. I am also on the Do Not Call list of numbers. (silent call / hung up)
