Man with a French accent saying something about an ad i supposedly liked or signed up for, etc. Something about stocks. Very noisy background, like a scammer call center. Said "Ah you're another one of those scammers" and hung up. He called me back 2x after that, i rejected the call and then blocked the number. Do not ID yourself and do not fall into their trap!! Called twice - lots of background noises and I answered in English (I'm francophone). They ask if I spoke French and I pretended I barely did (with an accent). They answered in English: I don't speak English, have a nice day and hang up. Seems like scam. No idea how they got my phone number as I'm on the DNC list. (live person)

It is unclear if the call was a commercial solicitation call for financial services or a scam. The person was very unclear and was very difficult to understand. Within the call, it clearly appeared that they had obtained my phone number in violation of Quebec privacy laws. They pretended that they were calling because I had liked an ad from Moneta Market, which is unlikely. (live person)
