This is a shady AF debt collector. To add context for anyone who might want it - these operations buy debt that is way, way out of statute for pennies on the dollar (maybe not even that much) in a speculative bid that they can scare you into giving them money - when you absolutely don't have to. In my case, they're trying to collect on a debt that was incurred by identity thieves (nightmare from hell!) back in *1998*! Lol. Be warned that these skeezy f***ers might also try to call your extended family, or anyone that they can find that you've been associated with over the last 30 years. I haven't seen this behavior from this number, but the one they bought this 'debt' from did do that. (robocall / recorded message)
