They introduced themselves as Vietnam Embassy from Washington DC, telling me that a Chinese person was arrested in Vietnam carrying 10 passports, one of which is mine. They can't speak Vietnamese, but then connected me to supposedly the police in Vietnam who will investigate and do a video interview. After an hour of BS they gave up (I had trouble with communicating in Vienamese). Checked with the real embassy website and sure enough there's a warning about scammer using this phone number. VN Embassy Agency Avoid any calls from this number at all cost! Embassy will never call you! This person pretend to be an agent at VN Embassy and will tell you that you are using trash SIM involved in serious crime in Viet Nam and say that he will help you resolve the problem by transferring you to a impersonating police officer to report the crime. JUST HANG UP AND BLOCK THE NUMBER! (live person)

The lady called in Vietnamese speaking from Vietnam Ambassy in Washington DC, asking me about my documents submitted to the VN Ambassy. I asked her to tell me what documents I had. She could not tell me what documents and she hung up the phone. (live person)
