Very polite and asked for account holder before confirming that they were undertaking an account review to identify best product for account owner. My partner new that I had recently undertaken a review with Vodaphone and changed my contract. Don´t believe it was vodaphone. (live person)

They said they were from vodafone. I happen to know Vodafone is not based in Rotherham so I knew it was a scammer. Wouldn't tell me my own name, but I was a little alarmed when I pressed him and he shakily revealed some of it. I told him I knew he was a scammer and he got a bit aggressive. I did have some fun, but in all seriousness they were very convincing and sent me a one time pass code etc so I do worry for vulnerable people. (live person)

had message from Vodaphone saying missed call, the phone hadn't rung. I am leaving Vodaphone so it could have been genuine but as they were unsympathetic to my needs/situation [nursing a terminally ill person] I am not inclined to try to return the call. (robocall / recorded message)

SCAM I called them back. Said they were Vodafone. Asked if I was a Vodafone customer, said yes. I was told I'd withheld my number which was not true. He then asked if my company name was {Not telling you here:-)] I said yes, so how have I withheld my number if you know the number I am calling from? He hung up. SCAM (silent call / hung up)
